Home, Hertfordshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prof confirmed the good news today, I&#8217;m still in remission.  Following that scan at St George&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.knob.blog\/penile-cancer-journal\/7-minutes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">couple of weeks ago<\/a>, the experts* have given it the once over.  There are no changes from the last scan, so no signs of new or recurring cancer.  So Merry Christmas to me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m back to St Anthony&#8217;s for another one in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-quaternary-color has-secondary-background-color has-text-color has-background\">*The experts are the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stgeorges.nhs.uk\/service\/urology\/penile-cancer-and-surgical-andrology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Professor&#8217;s multi disciplinary team<\/a> (or MDT).  It&#8217;s a one stop shop for the very best in penile cancer care.  It&#8217;s packed with experts in urological, and more specifically penile cancer.  Specialist surgeons (like the prof), oncologists, histopathologists, radiologists, plastic surgeons, expert nurses, lymphedema gurus, even psychologists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>11th December 2020.
